DevLaunch Studio ("we", "us", "our") built the CountDays app as a free application.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use CountDays.

By using CountDays, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

CountDays does NOT collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share:

- Your name or personal identity

- Your email address

- Your location data

- Your device contacts

- Your camera or photos

- Any personally identifiable information (PII)

3. DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE

CountDays stores the following data exclusively on your device:

- Event names, dates, and categories you create

- Color preferences and event icons you choose

- App settings and theme preferences

- Profile display name and avatar color (if set)

This data NEVER leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server.

It is stored using Flutter's local storage (SharedPreferences / SQLite).

You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the app or 

clearing app data in your device settings.

4. PERMISSIONS USED

CountDays requests the following permissions:

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED:

  Purpose: Restores home screen widgets after device restarts.

  Data collected: None. This permission is used only to re-register 

  the widget display after reboot.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+):

  Purpose: Sends optional event date reminder notifications.

  Data collected: None. Notifications are generated locally from 

  data you entered. No notification data is sent to external servers.

  You may disable notifications at any time in device Settings > Apps > CountDays.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES — GOOGLE ADMOB

CountDays uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob is provided by Google LLC and may collect:

- Device identifiers (Advertising ID)

- App usage data

- General location (country/region)

- Device type and operating system

AdMob data is used to serve relevant advertisements.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

CountDays does not knowingly collect personal information from children 

under the age of 13. The app does not require account creation and 

collects no personal data. If you are a parent and believe your child 

has provided personal data through this app, please contact us at 

privacy@devlaunch.io and we will take appropriate action.

7. DATA SECURITY

Since CountDays stores all data locally on your device and transmits 

nothing to external servers, the security of your event data depends 

on your device's own security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.).

We recommend keeping your device OS and security settings up to date.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Since we do not collect or store your data on any server, we cannot 

retrieve or delete it remotely. You have full control:

- View your data: all data is visible within the app

- Delete your data: uninstall the app or clear app data in device Settings

- Export your data: use the app's built-in share functionality

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify 

you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at 

the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes 

constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
